N-CEC began its journey decades ago with the Department of Pharmacology, Jeonbuk National University Medical School, with research as its priority. In the beginning, we provided laboratory animal research support and collaborated with other institutes for basic and preclinical investigations. As we achieve excellence, recognition by the Institute of Life Sciences, Jeonbuk National University Hospital laid the foundation step towards developing the center as a contract research organization (CRO). N-CEC is a biomedical research facility located in Jeonju, Jeolla Buk Do, Republic of Korea and Led by Prof Han-Jung Chae. Over years, N-CEC has shown growth in excellence in research and as a CRO, which has helped the center to be recognized as a well-known CRO in lung diseases. Now, the N-CEC has expanded its role and has become a resource for preclinical research. Ever since our establishment, we are committed to building a perfect CRO environment to provide quality services for our clients with speed.
The purpose of the N-CEC is to empower an institution to pursue their non-clinical research by providing an evaluation system of international level efficacy, conducting animal experiments and providing technical advice on non-clinical research. N-CEC has the vision to become a familiar and reputed name in the global CRO industry.
Non-Clinical Evaluation Center (N-CEC) has been approved by Jeonbuk National University Hospital and AAALAC. N-CEC staffs have several years of good laboratory practice (GLP) experience. N-CEC has Jeon Hyun Kim, JBNU, as its independent Quality Assurance Unit that monitors the facility, protocols, raw data, and reports for investigations. At N-CEC, we are all strongly committed to animal welfare, and our group demonstrates the highest ethical and scientific standards. Animal facilities are in full compliance with the Animal Welfare Act, and we are accredited by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC International).
